BD-8 is the entry point of the Value line, and the arithmetic is the argument: $11.90 buys four cores, 8 GB and 100 GB — the same money as VPS-2's one core, 2 GB and 55 GB. The honest other half is that it runs on a supplier platform tuned for density rather than clock speed, in Nuremberg only, built to order within one business day. For workloads that want room more than they want peak per-core pace — and most do — it is the most server per dollar we sell.

- Regions cannot be changed in place; moving means a new server and a DNS cutover
- Prepaid terms are not pro-rated if you destroy the server early

BD-8 sits on the Value line. Cores on this line are shared with other tenants on the same host. Bursts are quick; an hour pinned at 100% is not something a shared core can promise.
