Dedicated server · AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D
DS-5: 32 threads, 128 GB, 2 × 1.92 TB NVMe
DS-5 is the specialist of the range. The 7950X3D stacks additional L3 cache on one of its core complexes, which is worth a great deal to workloads whose working set nearly fits in cache — databases with hot indexes, game servers, simulation — and worth very little to workloads that stream through memory. Buy it for the cache, or buy DS-6 instead.

Scope
What the price covers.
The right-hand column is not a list of things we are working on. It is the shape of the product.
In the price
- A whole physical machine — no hypervisor of ours, no neighbours, no oversubscription
- 1 Gbit uplink with unmetered traffic
- One IPv4 address and a /64 of IPv6
- Full hardware access: run your own hypervisor, container platform or bare operating system
- Available in Germany
- Provisioned within one business day of the order clearing
Not in the price
- Self-managed: operating system, patching and application support are yours
- A one-off setup fee applies on the first invoice and is not refundable
- No hourly billing and no minute-scale provisioning — this is hardware, not an instance
- No panel-driven resize: changing machine is a migration to a different one
- No Windows licensing sold with it; the images we support are Linux
- We do not publish IOPS figures for these drives because we have not measured them ourselves
Suited to
What DS-5 is the right machine for.
Sixteen full cores with 3D V-Cache, 128 GB and 3.84 TB of NVMe.
- Cache-sensitive databases
- Query paths that hit the same indexes repeatedly benefit from the larger L3 more than from extra threads.
- Game server hosting
- High clocks on full cores plus a large cache is the combination that keeps tick rates flat under player load.
- Simulation and modelling
- Tight loops over a working set that fits in cache run measurably faster here than on a conventional part.
Questions
About DS-5 specifically.
Is the extra cache on all sixteen cores?
Does it need a special operating system?
