One gigabyte of RAM is genuinely one gigabyte: a database and an application server sharing it will swap under load, so give a busy site a plan with 4 GB or more.

Nobody patches the operating system but you — this is a self-managed server
No Windows images: every image we ship is Linux

No snapshots or size changes from the panel yet: changing size is a support request, and a copy before a risky change is yours to take
No private networking between servers: traffic between two of your own servers uses their public addresses
Regions cannot be changed in place; moving means a new server and a DNS cutover
Prepaid terms are not pro-rated if you destroy the server early

Where VPS-1 is the right size.

The smallest useful server: one core, one gigabyte, and root.

A personal site or portfolio: A static site or a small CMS with a cached front end sits comfortably inside 25 GB and 1 TB of transfer.
A VPN or tunnel endpoint: WireGuard barely registers on the CPU. What you are buying here is a stable IPv4 in a region you chose.
Cron, bots and probes: Scheduled jobs, a monitoring probe or a chat bot that talks to an API elsewhere. Small, always on, cheap to leave running.

Line

VPS-1 sits on the Standard line. Cores on this line are shared with other tenants on the same host. Bursts are quick; an hour pinned at 100% is not something a shared core can promise.

Can I run WordPress on VPS-1?

One low-traffic site, yes, provided you put a page cache in front of it and keep the database small. Anything with logged-in users, WooCommerce or a plugin stack should start on a plan with at least two cores and 4 GB.

Is 25 GB enough?

For an application and its logs, usually. For user uploads, media libraries or database backups kept on the same disk, no — size the disk for what accumulates, not for what you install today.
