Often you should: DS-6 is 96 threads and 256 GB for $673.90 a month plus a one-off $109.00. Choose DC-64 when you want the platform's conveniences — a rebuild in a minute, a snapshot before a risky change, fourteen regions to choose from — and metal when you want the cores and the isolation.

Can I get more than 64 GB on the virtual platform?

Not today. Sizes are fixed shapes and this is the largest one. Beyond it the answer is a dedicated server, or several instances behind a load balancer you run.
