BD-24 is the plan that makes the Value line's case most sharply: $30.90 a month for eight cores, 24 GB and 300 GB of NVMe, when the nearest classic size, VPS-4, is $23.90 for half the cores and a third of the memory. The difference is not generosity — it is a denser platform with lower peak per-core speed, in one German city, built to order. For parallel, throughput-shaped work that difference is close to free money; for latency-shaped work it is not.

BD-24 is a self-managed server. The list on the right is not a gap we intend to fill later — it is the other product.

- Nobody patches the operating system but you — this is a self-managed server
- No snapshot, resize or private-networking panel features on this line — it is a different platform underneath
- No managed backup add-on on this line yet: take your own backups off the box
- Regions cannot be changed in place; moving means a new server and a DNS cutover
- Prepaid terms are not pro-rated if you destroy the server early

Line
BD-24 sits on the Value line. Cores on this line are shared with other tenants on the same host. Bursts are quick; an hour pinned at 100% is not something a shared core can promise.
