cTrader VPS for cTrader and cBots

A VPS for cTrader in 42 cities, from $30.90 a month. Run cTrader Desktop and your cBots on Windows Server 2022 over Remote Desktop, with Windows libraries, files and web requests that cTrader's own cloud does not allow, or run cBots alone on Linux with Spotware's cTrader CLI.

Page checked against Spotware's cTrader documentation on 15 October 2026. Prices come from the same catalogue the cart charges. How it compares with cTrader's cloud.

Where

Pick the city closest to your broker's cTrader servers.

Your broker says where its servers are. Each card is that city's Windows Server 2022 price, read from the catalogue the cart charges from; Linux is in the order form beside it. Choose a city and the order form below opens on it.

Order

Build your cTrader server.

The same order form as our Cloud VPS page, narrowed to the city you picked and to sizes from 2 vCPU and 4 GB of RAM. It opens on Windows Server 2022 for cTrader Desktop; choose Linux in the image step to run cBots with cTrader CLI instead.

Ordering in Istanbul, TürkiyeChange city

Step 01

Choose a size

Sizes are fixed shapes, not sliders. Changing size later is a support request, and a smaller size usually means a new server because a disk cannot shrink.

Step 02

Choose an image

Clean vendor images, nothing preloaded that you did not ask for. You can rebuild onto any other image from the panel at any time.

Every image is the vendor's own, unmodified. If you want the machine configured before you log in, add a start-up script below.

Step 03

Choose a term and add-ons

Terms are prepaid. Annual takes 10% off the same monthly rate — it is a discount for paying up front, not a different product.

Billing term

$30.90 charged every month. Switch to annual at any renewal.

How many

One machine. Each one you add is built separately, with its own address and root password.

Sizes

Which size for cTrader.

Memory decides how much runs at once; cores decide how fast an optimisation finishes. Prices are today's Windows Server 2022 prices, per month, in Istanbul.

What Spotware says

  • From cTrader's system requirements: a dual-core processor and 2 GB of memory at minimum, 4 GB recommended, for cTrader on Windows.
  • cTrader's optimisation settings include how many CPU cores an optimisation uses (cTrader Algo changelog, version 5.10).
  • The three sizes below are our reading: one account, several cBots, and optimisation.

Compare

This VPS or cTrader's own cloud.

cTrader can run cBots in its own cloud, started from the app. Here is how that differs from a server of your own, from Spotware's own pages.

If your cBots are cross-platform, need no web requests or saved files, and fit within the cloud's limits, cTrader's cloud is simpler and you should use it. A VPS is for everything past that: Windows libraries, files that must persist, web requests, more cBots, or cTrader Desktop running all day.

Their side of the table is from Spotware's cBots FAQ and cloud requirements, read on 15 October 2026.

Set up

Two ways to run it.

cTrader Desktop on Windows if you want your charts on the server too; cTrader CLI on Linux if you only need cBots running. Setup help is available on request through a ticket.

Windows Server 2022: cTrader Desktop

  1. Connect. Open Remote Desktop and sign in as Administrator with the address and password from your delivery email.
  2. Install cTrader from your broker. Download cTrader from your broker's website, install it and sign in with your cTrader ID.
  3. Add your cBot. Copy the .algo file to the server and double-click it: cTrader opens it and asks where to run it. Choose to run it locally, then pick the account, symbol and period.
  4. Start by itself. Put a cTrader shortcut in the Startup folder (shell:startup in the Run box) and turn on automatic sign-in, for example with Microsoft's Autologon tool.
  5. Leave the right way. Set Windows Update's active hours to your trading hours, and close the Remote Desktop window to disconnect. Signing out stops cTrader and its local cBots.

Linux: cTrader CLI in Docker

  1. Pick the image. In the order form choose Ubuntu 24.04 with Docker where it is offered, or Ubuntu and install Docker yourself. Sign in as root over SSH.
  2. Pull Spotware's image. Only from Spotware's own address:docker pull ghcr.io/spotware/ctrader-console:latest
  3. Add your files. Put your .algo file and a password file in one folder. Spotware notes that the password file holds your password in plain text, so keep it to that folder and readable by root only.
  4. Run the cBot. Start the container with your cTrader ID, the password file, the account number, the symbol and the period, exactly as in Spotware's guide. It keeps running after you log out.

Both ways are Spotware's own: cTrader CLI and installing a cBot. Read them for anything beyond a first cBot.

Plainly

What we do not do.

We do not install cTrader or your cBots

The server arrives clean. cTrader, your cBots and your settings are yours to install.

We never ask for trading logins

No cTrader ID password, investor password, 2FA code or withdrawal detail, ever. Anyone who asks for one in our name is not us.

We do not publish latency we have not measured

The distance that matters is to your broker's servers, which we do not know. Compare cities on an hourly server if you need to.

We do not promise trading results

A VPS keeps your terminal and cBots on and connected. It does not make trades profitable or remove the risk in trading.

cTrader belongs to Spotware Systems. PartVPS is an independent hosting company and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotware.

Questions

What traders ask before they buy one.

Which city should I choose for cTrader?
The one closest to your broker's cTrader servers. Brokers say where their servers are, and their support will tell you if the site does not. We do not publish latency figures we have not measured; if you want to compare, an hourly server in two cities settles it in an evening.
Does cTrader run on Windows Server?
cTrader Desktop is a Windows program and installs on Windows Server 2022 like any other. Spotware's published requirements name Windows 8 or later and do not list Windows Server versions, so if you want to be certain before paying for a month, try it on an hourly server for an evening first.
How much CPU and RAM does cTrader need on a VPS?
Spotware asks for a dual-core processor and 2 GB of memory at minimum and recommends 4 GB, for cTrader on its own. Windows Server needs memory too, so 2 vCPU and 4 GB of RAM is our smallest size and 4 vCPU and 8 GB of RAM suits several cBots or accounts. Optimisation is the job that uses cores: cTrader's optimisation settings let you choose how many CPU cores it uses.
cTrader already runs cBots in its cloud. Why a VPS?
cTrader's cloud runs cBots on Linux: Windows libraries such as WPF, WinForms and WinAPI do not work there, HTTP requests are not sent, files a cBot writes are deleted on every restart, and it runs 1 cBot on a demo account and up to 10 on live accounts, limits that may vary by broker. On your own server none of that applies, and you also get cTrader Desktop with your charts. If your cBot fits inside those rules, the cloud is simpler, and we would say so.
Can my cBots run without the cTrader desktop app?
Yes. Spotware's cTrader CLI runs cBots from a terminal or from its official Docker image, which Spotware describes as convenient for hosting cBots on a Linux VPS. Choose Linux in the order form for that: it keeps cBots running without a desktop or charts.
Can my cBot use Windows libraries, files and web requests?
Yes, on Windows Server. It is your own Windows, so WPF, WinForms, WinAPI, files on disk and HTTP requests all work, within the access rights you give the cBot in cTrader.
Does cTrader keep running when I close Remote Desktop?
Yes. Closing the Remote Desktop window disconnects your session and leaves cTrader and its local cBots running. Signing out ends them. Put cTrader in the Startup folder and turn on automatic sign-in so it starts again by itself after a Windows Update restart.
Is cTrader preinstalled?
No. The server arrives clean. On Windows, download cTrader from your broker and install it as on a desktop; on Linux, pull Spotware's own Docker image. We never ask for your cTrader ID password or your 2FA codes.
Is the Windows license included?
Yes, the Windows Server license is in the price of every size the cards quote.
Can I try it before paying for a month?
In cities billed by the hour, yes: deploy a server, run cTrader for an evening, destroy it and pay for those hours. The order form shows whether the city you picked bills by the hour.
Can I pay with crypto?
Yes: card or cryptocurrency (USDT, Bitcoin or Ethereum), and the server costs the same either way. Paying in crypto adds a payment fee of $1 and 5% to the invoice, which the payment page shows before you send anything. Whichever you use, the monthly price renews at the same figure.
Does a VPS guarantee my trades?
No hosting does. A VPS keeps your terminal on and connected; it does not make trades profitable or remove the risk in trading.
